About AorBorC

Business Systems Built Right

AorBorC was founded in 2013 by Ruben Kannan, an ex-Zoho Creator team member who has spent 17+ years building business systems around real operations.

We help companies design, rebuild, integrate, and support Zoho and AI-assisted workflow systems that finance, operations, sales, and leadership can actually depend on.

We grow our own senior engineers. Every engineer on the team started here as a beginner and learned the standards here.

Founder Depth

Ruben spent years on the Zoho Creator team before founding AorBorC. That inside view of the platform - what it is designed for, where it is fragile, which patterns survive scale and which don't - sits behind every rescue, audit, and rebuild we run.

Most of our work today is rescuing Zoho systems that were started well and lost their way - vendor turnover, requirement drift, automation glued on top of automation. The fix is rarely "build it again from scratch". More often it's a careful audit, a phased stabilisation, and a real long-term support relationship.

Operating Beliefs

What shapes our scope, delivery, and support.

Long-term accountability is the rarest thing in this industry.

Founder-accountable, retainer-friendly, in it for years. Most of the work we take on today was left behind by vendors who left early.

Most tech work is really workflow work.

We diagnose how your business operates before we touch software. Software built on a process nobody agrees on gets abandoned.

Operations teams decide if a system succeeds.

We pull the people running the business into weekly demos. If they find a workflow unworkable, we fix it before it ships.

AI is a layer, not a product.

We weave document AI, approval copilots, and intelligent search into the systems your team already uses — where it reduces actual work.

Audit-grade documentation keeps your team in control.

Every system we ship is documented so your in-house team can extend it. We build for independence — and clients tend to stay anyway.

Long-term support is part of the deliverable.

Quarterly reviews, retainer support, a real human on Slack. Most of our clients stay with us across multiple system generations.

We grow our own senior engineers.

Our engineers start here as beginners. We teach English and technical skills until they are shipping production systems for clients in 20+ countries. Everyone is built here — which is why standards, vocabulary, and care line up across projects.

Client Fit

Existing Zoho customers who want their systems clearer

Part-built Creator apps, CRM blueprints that need a refresh, systems left by a previous team — we audit, refactor, and stabilise them so your team can rely on them again.

Businesses graduating from Excel + WhatsApp

Approvals in email, reports built by hand, finance and operations disagreeing. We design the operational backbone you needed last year.

Operations-heavy teams needing dashboards

Manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, construction, healthcare ops - we know the patterns and we know what breaks at scale.

International clients needing serious execution

20+ countries served. Enterprise-level thinking, time-zone-friendly delivery, founder accountability on every project.

Delivery Rhythm

  1. 01

    Understand

We sit with your team and listen to the actual chaos - not a feature list.

  2. 02

    Map

Current vs target architecture on one page. Honest. Often uncomfortable.

  3. 03

    Scope

Phased work with fixed price per phase. No mystery line items.

  4. 04

    Build

Senior engineers, two-week iterations, operations team in the demo.

  5. 05

    Stabilize

QA against your real workflows including the cases vendor demos always skip.

  6. 06

    Go-live

Calm, staged cutover. Never a Friday afternoon.

  7. 07

    Partner

Retainer support, quarterly reviews, a real human on Slack.
